On Wed., May 5th, MVSD was notified of a new case of COVID-19 associated with Winnipegosis Collegiate; however, the individual was NOT present in the school during their period of communicability (POC) and there are no school-related close-contacts. Therefore, no public health investigation in the school is required. The case will appear on the Manitoba COVID-19 Dashboard in the coming days. Click on the link for more details.

As our communities and school division emerge from the challenges of COVID-19, MVSD is looking forward to planning for the 2021-2022 school year. We ask parents/guardians and community members to help us in our planning by completing our survey by Friday, May 7th. A separate survey will be available for students. The third Wednesday in April is known throughout Manitoba as "School Bus Driver Day." On behalf of Senior Administration and the Board of Trustees, we would like to thank our bus drivers for getting our students to and from school safely!
