The Mountain View School Division Board of Trustees is pleased to present the 2020-2021 Community Report. Electronic and/or printed copies of the report will be distributed to families via schools. Printed copies will also be available upon request at local schools and the Division Office. For more information, please contact the Division Office at (204) 638-3001.

The Hon. Cliff Cullen, Minister of Education, has proclaimed the week of Nov. 14-21, 2021 as "Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week." We will continue to work together to make our schools safe, caring and inclusive environments for our children and youth.

On Nov. 4, 2021, MVSD held a ceremony honouring Treaty 2 and the signing of their 150-year Treaty. The Mountain View Teachers’ Association had the opportunity to present Land Acknowledgement statement plaques with beautiful artwork that was developed by students from Whitmore School and MacKenzie Middle School. Treaty 2 reciprocated the gift giving with Treaty 2 flags and Treaty medallions. Click on the link to learn more!

Nominations for the 2021-2022 Manitoba’s Excellence in Education Awards, recognizing outstanding achievement by educators in various categories, will be accepted until Dec. 2, 2021. Click on the above link for details!

medical lead on the province’s Vaccine Implementation Taskforce,
