MVSD would like to invite community members to attend the Community Reconciliation Circles, Umbay Nagamon. The workshop will be facilitated by the Coordinator of Indigenous Education, Carole Shankaruk, and a team of MVSD staff. The Community Reconciliation Circles will allow participants to reflect on the legacy of residential schools, embark on productive dialogue around reconciliation and allyship with Indigenous communities and provide an opportunity to create collaborative relationships with all community members within our communities.
