May 5 – Red Dress Day

Today we honour and remember Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people. Each red dress is a powerful reminder of those who are missing, those who were taken too soon, and the families and communities who continue to carry their stories.

Flags at Half-Mast for Day of Mourning

Flags will be flown at half-mast on Tuesday, April 28th, the National Day of Mourning, to honour Canadian workers who have lost their lives, suffered injury or illness on the job, or experienced a work-related tragedy.
